Core Values and Mission Statement

  • Prayer: (I Thessalonians 5:17) Prayer is our spiritual lifeline. Individually and corporately, at home, at church services, in small groups and in all venues we rely upon communication with our Creator.

  • Christ-Centered Leadership: Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, and our congregation leaders and individual members must utterly depend on Him. Jesus Himself set the ultimate example of servant-leadership and Christian leaders must lead through service and a focus on Jesus. Apart from Him we can do nothing. (John 15:1-8)

  • Fellowship: (I John 1:3, Matthew 22:36-40) Fellowship and meaningful, loving relationships with God and with our fellow human beings are essential. We believe in accepting, caring for, serving and spending time with one another. We value input from everyone and consider friendliness and fellowship to be hallmarks of our congregation.

  • Bible-Centered Teaching: (2 Timothy 3:15-17) The Word of God must be the core of our teaching, Sermons and classes and small group studies must equip members to know, understand and apply scripture in our daily lives, and continually point to Jesus Christ, in Whom we find salvation. (I Thessalonians 5:9)

  • Inspiring Worship: (Psalm 100:1-3) We strive to make our worship services opportunities to lift up our hearts to God, to worship music, from traditional to contemporary. We seek to have worship services, which are uplifting experiences, and leave people feeling glad they came to worship the true and living God.

  • Evangelism: (Matthew 28:19-20) Jesus instructed His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel, Mark 16:15. That is to carry Good News and spread good tidings to all mankind. We believe that we have been the ministry of reconciliation and are responsible for helping to seek and save the lost.

To share the love of God and guide people into a committed relationship with Jesus Christ. To make the Word a priority in the lives of all believers.

Our vision is to become a thriving congregation in which each member personally knows the one and only true God Jesus Christ whom He sent. (John 17:3) We will continue to grow as a loving, caring, praying congregation. We will encourage and inspire one another to individually serve as agents for transforming those in our spheres of influence through prayer and active love.

We will all contribute to fulfilling our mission by:

  • Sharing the good news of the Love of God as revealed in the life, death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ; and

  • Guiding people into a committed relationship and personal friendship with Jesus Christ, resulting in true disciples and followers of our Lord who live and share the joy of their salvation with others.

As a congregation, we see the fulfillment of this vision as we prayerfully yield to the Holy Spirit, Whom we see directing us to focus as we follow His leading to make true disciples for Christ.
